MnSPE education open to MFESTS members: Starting an Engineering Business/Understanding the Business Side of Engineering4.0 PDHs Date & Time: Tuesday, January 10, 2012, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Location: Great River Energy in Maple Grove. This program will consist of four separate presentations followed by a panel question, answer and discussion session.Specific presentations/panel discussions will include: - The legal aspects of setting up your own business, incorporating, etc.

MN Regional Future Cities Compettion at U of MN Mpls Campus
The Minnesota Regional Future City Competition will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the new Science Teaching & Student Services building on the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis campus, East Bank) 7:30 a.m. Check in for teams 8:30 to 11:50 a.m. Oral presentation and special awards judging 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. Lunch, public viewing of models 1:30 to 3:45 p.m. Top 5 teams give their formal presentation in a large auditorium 3:45 to 4:00 p.m. Final awards ceremony. 1st place team is announced detaiils at Minnesota FCC website: http://www.futurecity.org/minnesota |

I Heart Quality Monthly Program Meeting
Join us on Tuesday, February 14th for a special Valentine’s Day Event – I Heart Quality. We will explore several training options for training in quality. Dr. Bob Gee has over thirty years’ hands-on experience developing quality systems for diverse application. He has won awards and recognition for design and implementation of quality-based education programs. Elizabeth Miller is a Client Development Associate at Dale Carnegie Training in Minnesota. Currently responsible for public enrollment courses, Elizabeth also manages Dale Carnegie Minnesota’s virtual voice and social media strategy.
